1. Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs): This Rebate is available for small-scale Solar systems with a capacity of up to 100 kilowatts. Under this scheme, homeowners or businesses installing eligible Solar systems can create STCs, which can then be sold to electricity retailers. The value of the STCs depends on factors such as the location, size, and installation date of the system.

2. Feed-in Tariffs (FiTs): FiTs are offered by some electricity retailers to customers who generate excess electricity from their Solar systems and feed it back into the grid. The retailer pays the customer a set rate for each kilowatt-hour of electricity exported. The rate and eligibility criteria for FiTs vary between states and territories in Australia. Some regions offer a net feed-in tariff, where the customer is credited for the excess electricity at the same rate as they pay for imported electricity.
