1. Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES): The SRES is a federal government program that provides financial incentives for households and small businesses to install small-scale renewable energy systems, such as Solar panels. Under the SRES, eligible Solar panel installations receive Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), which can be sold to recoup some of the upfront costs of purchasing and installing a Solar system.

2. Solar Homes Program (SHP): The SHP is a state-based program that offers rebates and subsidies to help homeowners and renters in Victoria, South Australia, and New South Wales access affordable Solar power. The program provides rebates for the purchase and installation of Solar panels and Solar hot water systems, as well as interest-free loans for Solar batteries. The aim of the SHP is to reduce energy bills, increase renewable energy generation, and create jobs in the Solar industry.
